Director of Summer Programs
Sarah Craig joins UMASS with over 10 years of experience in higher education. Her last role in higher education was the founding director of non-degree programs at Smith College, where she built and expanded precollege offerings for high school girls that were academically rigorous and accessible, and also led summer conference services. Sarah holds a B.A. from Mount Holyoke College, and an M.Ed. in integrative learning from Endicott College where she researched why some students with executive function disorders fail to successfully transition to college and how to create programming to insure success.
Sarah’s loves include her husband, son, daughter, two dogs, cooking, skiing, and traveling.
Coordinator of Summer Programs
Erin O'Rourke has worked with UMass Summer Programs since 2014, and has over 9 years of experience in education administration, in both K-12 and higher education. She holds a B.A. in Italian Studies from Bard College and studied translation theory at UMass Amherst at the graduate level.
At Summer Programs, Erin handles inquiries and communications, enrollment management, and marketing & outreach.
Erin is also an active Italian-English translator, and enjoys yoga, green smoothies and hiking.

Summer Programs Manager
Zack Brower joined UMASS Summer Programs in February 2016 with 5 years of experience in educational program design and management. Some of Zack's professional interests include international student mobility and non-traditional educational programming.
With Summer Programs, Zack focuses on marketing, operations, and assists the Director with the development of new initiatives.
Zack is an active musician, enjoys sci-fi, and likes to use his slow-cooker as much as possible.
